I’m slowly introducing you all to our panel of Hysteria 2012 Short Story and Poetry Competition Judges. I’ve asked them all the same six questions and there are some surprising answers. Our third judge is … Iona Jones and here she tells you a little more about herself.Tell me one thing no-one knows about you.
I won’t do that. I’m a transparent person and if no one knows it now, then it should stay that way.
What do you enjoy reading the most and why?
Historical fiction – so I can lose myself in costume and drama, and enjoy social history
If there was one book or piece of writing you wish you had written what would it be?
Five People You Meet In Heaven – cos its amazing.
What prompted you to volunteer to be a judge in Hysteria 2012?
Because I was interested in supporting the association.
Have you written a book or a poem? If so what is the title and where can we find it (if it’s available to buy)?
I used to write all the time, not to publish or share in any way but to clear my head. I seem washed out since doing my open university degree and haven’t done so since.
If there was a film of your life who would play you and why?
Oh I don’t know…an undiscovered actress of similar age, who would have empathy with my choices.
